Hurricane 2026 has come and gone, and somehow we managed to make it even bigger.
42 players battled it out in Old School, while 36 players showed up for our very first Premodern event. Once again, Rudyard’s Pub played host to a weekend of old cards, questionable decisions, excessive drinking (and eating), and the sort of camaraderie that makes these events worth putting on.
Friday Night Draft!

We had players make the trip from New Jersey, New York, and wherever Milwaukee is— a long with all the usual Texas and Oklahoma culprits. We also had someone drive from Arkansas (or somewhere around there, sorry I was drinking a lot and might have slightly messed up the state but far away anyway!).
Saturday Night Dinner Crowd!

Note – One of the above folks lost the credit card card games only minutes before, any guesses?
And, most importantly, together we raised $3,938.25 for charity.
Technically, that’s $3,938.25.
But I rounded it up to $4,000, because round numbers are better and nobody has ever accused Magic players of being particularly good with money.
Huge thanks to everyone who played, travelled, donated, organized, traded, lent cards, drank beer, or otherwise helped make Hurricane 2026 happen.
42 Old School. 37 Premodern. $4,000 raised.

Not a bad weekend at all.
Same time next year?
